29th Annual Oyster Festival - March 27th thru May 2nd, 2015

A 40+ item, fresh oyster menu will be served, prepared by award-winning Chef and Owner, Jon Diebold. Smoked Oyster Salad, Fried Oyster Tacos, Oyster Stuffed Jalapenos, Oysters Mardi Gras, and Nantucket Oysters are just a sampling of Oyster Festival fare including, of course, the Platform’s famous fresh-shucked Oysters On The Half Shell.

Pearls of Wisdom

Oyster Festival patrons will be invited to provide nominal cash donations in exchange for participation in some "shellfish" fun, including the Platform's "Pearl Count" Contest, & the popular "Pearls Of Wisdom", giving customers the opportunity to win gift certificates, T-shirts and other valuable prizes. All special event/contest proceeds are to benefit the Saint Francis Soup Kitchen, Over the Rhine.

Big Red 29

Lucky patrons are also invited to check their oyster shells for a "Big Red 29" as part of their lunch, appetizer, or dinner order during the Oyster Festival. If found, the customer will receive $29.00 in Washington Platform gift certificates.

3 for 29

Hot and cold lunch and dinner specials will be served daily throughout the Oyster Festival. A special feature this year: the "3 for 29". Sample any three(3) dishes from the popular “Oyster Munchies” menu, for $29.00, after 5:00 pm. Monday – Thursday.

Buck A Shuck

Again at this year's Festival is the Washington Platform “BUCK-A-SHUCK”. Oyster Lovers can enjoy fresh shucked oysters, with all the trimmings for $1.00 each, All Day Monday, and along with Happy Hour drink prices, Tuesday - Thursday, 4:00 pm.- 7:00 pm.
